It's taken almost a year and a half to finally return to my blog and document the closing of BakeHouse in Las Cruces, New Mexico. And it never occurred to us that by years end, our Wood Fired Mobile Pizza Business would be sold also. So 2019 has been about our "New Normal".
It all started with a road trip back home to the East Coast and giving ourselves time to ask the question, "where do we want to be in 5 years?" and we both agreed that what we were currently doing was not what we wanted in 5 years.
It's an experience that I would recommend do any business owner out there - it's worth the journey to search your heart and figure out what you'd like the rest of your life to look like and what adventures would you like to experience!
So with that, we are off to new adventures and have found that using our big Wood Fired Bread oven for our own bread and pizza is really a lot of fun. We've taken up brewing our own beer also! So now we gather with friends and family in our backyard, fire up the oven, and enjoy what so many other people have enjoyed all the years and we only occasionally took the time to enjoy!
